Ads of the Week

Everyday Dose, Solawave, Loop Earplugs

Everyday Dose

Analysis:

One of the greatest psychology principles for unawate markets is problem-solution framing. It presents what you struggle with by leading with a relatable thought: “I’m too hyper, I can’t focus.”

It meets the consumer where they’re at, validating a common frustration with traditional coffee (jitters and inability to focus). The follow-up line “Coffee. Without the jitters.” uses contrast framing to position this product as a better, calmer alternative.

Visually, the dreamy lavender background and soft lighting create a mood of mental clarity and calm. Pair that with clean icons and benefits like “Gut Health” and “Enhances Focus,” and you’ve got a product that feels functional and feel-good.

How you can apply it:

  1. Start with the problem your customer is thinking—but afraid to say out loud.

  2. Position your product as the relief from that problem—fast and clearly.

  3. Use calm, confidence-inducing visuals to reflect the solution's emotional payoff.

  4. Highlight benefits with icons for fast, scannable credibility.

  5. Keep copy human and concise—write like a friend offering the fix.

Prompt:

Create image for an Everyday Dose ad campaign titled 'I'm too hyper I can't focus'. The image should ultra-realistic and feature the reference image with a soft, baby bluish purple cream gradient background with a cup of coffee and everyday dose coffee ground at the base of the product image. There should also be collagen powder, lions man mushrooms, chaga mushroom, and l-theanine, at the base as well. The headline at the top, 'I'm too hyper I can't focus' should look like it's shaken and jittery. The subheader at the bottom should say 'Coffee. Without the jitters.' in normal text. Font type: Helvetica bold - Aspect Ratio 4:5

Solawave

Analysis:

This Solawave ad is a textbook example of visual proof + time-bound transformation—two of the most powerful psychological triggers in marketing. The Day 1 vs. Day 60 split instantly taps into before-after bias, giving viewers instant visual evidence that the product works. When people can visualize themselves having the same success, they buy.

The headline “Reduce Wrinkles in Just 60 Days” adds a clear timeframe, setting expectations and increasing credibility to trigger goal gradient theory, we’re more likely to start when we can visualize the finish line.

How you can apply it:

  1. Use side-by-side visuals to make transformation instantly believable.

  2. Include a clear, specific timeframe for results to increase urgency and trust.

  3. Make the result visual and emotional to help them see and feel the benefit.

  4. Use large, clear typography for quick readability and impact.

  5. Design with tone in mind, use colors and lighting that match the desired outcome (e.g., calm, youthful, energized).

Prompt:

Create image using this reference picture attached for an ad campaign for Solawave titled 'Reduce Wrinkles in Just 60 Days!' with the product centered in the middle of the ad in the foreground. The background should be a before and after picture of the same lady in her 50s with the left hand side being before where she has more wrinkles, and the right hand side being her with reduced wrinkles and ever so slightly more vibrant skin. The background behind her should be a very light, almost whitish pink. Include the headline 'Reduce Wrinkles in Just 60 Days.' at the bottom and 'Day 1' on the left hand side of the screen and 'Day 60' on the right

Loop Earplugs

Analysis:

Loop Earplugs crushes their ads. And personally, I love this one with it’s relatable curiosity and unexpected product fit. The copy taps into a nearly universal thought “What’s that tiny jean pocket even for?” and flips it into a perfect product tie-in.

That closure of pairing the case with the pocket immediately clarifies the value and positions Loop Earplugs as what the tiny pocket is meant for. A small, portable, convenient headphone. It’s playful, clever, and totally scroll-stopping, proving you don’t need to shout benefits if you can deliver a solid “aha” moment.

How you can apply it:

  1. Start with a familiar, quirky observation your audience can instantly relate to.

  2. Tie your product to that moment as the clever or “obvious” solution.

  3. Let your visuals do the explaining (show, don’t tell).

  4. Keep the copy short, witty, and human. No fancy jargon.

  5. Make your product feel like it “fits” into daily life, both literally and emotionally.

Prompt:

Create image for a Loop Earplugs ad campaign titled 'If you’ve ever wondered what your tiny jean pocket is for... now you know.' with an ultra realistic picture of a man in jeans but zoom in on the tiny jean pocket and put Loop Earplugs right next to the pocket. The headline 'If you’ve ever wondered what your tiny jean pocket is for... now you know.' should appear at the bottom.
